For this author, creative endeavors have been sorely tested by motherhood. But also transformed, and in ways she wouldn’t have imagined – couldn’t have, without her life “rewritten” as it has been, by her children. So linger here, to read all things weaverly, writerly and motherly.

New 3-foot Triangle loom

My new 3-ft triangle loom! And below it, my first project, a scarf (shawl?) made out of ladder yarn. Not at ALL easy to work with as it tends to catch on the nails, but the effects are gorgeous.

Oh I really like this idea for a loom. It could be good enough to get me weaving again!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Lovely weaving and your storie take me back to my "bringing up children" days.

Hi Sandra,
ah sorry I don't have it... I add blogs to my side bar manually with a blogger gadget. Hope we keep up with each other anyhow :)
all the best
Helen

That sure does look like a fun new toy! And the scarf-in-progress already looks gorgeous. Have fun!

hehe ok just 'cause you asked so nicely Sandra :)

Yes, sorry for not saying before, the piece is all wet felted and then a line of gold satin stitch was added over the blue silk strip. I usually need to work more on a piece but this one seemed to arrive by itself!

Thank you for the feature offer too... so kind I'll try submitting something and see if technology is on our side (so often it doesn't want to play nice)

Thanks for stopping by. You ask how? I mostly write @ Writing with Debra. One blog won't be up until July. Two are reflections blogs. And I just posted on the other three.

Somedays it's not easy! LOL
